…..so after our Christmas celebrations, James and I headed out to Stanthorpe to visit some friends. To say thank you for their hospitality, I offered to do some candid images of daughter Jess, whilst we were at the farm. Now, I love a challenge, though I can honestly say that this session certainly tested my ability!! Jess is one busy little girl…..and FAST!!!! The dogs were quick too………..mmmm perhaps it was just me after all of the Christmas fare:) Thanks again Naomi and Michael:)

Elegance at it’s best

This is the wedding of Krystal and Greg. Everything about this wedding was simply beautiful, and oh so elegant. The bride arrived at St Stephen’s Cathedral in a Vintage Car, followed by the stunning bridesmaids. The shy nervous groom awaited his bride, and his eyes lit up as soon as he saw her. Tears were aplenty!!!

The clouds were building, though the rain was not going to stop this bridal party from participating in some location photographs. Like troopers, they traipsed their way through mud and rain, in order to get some amazing images. Thanks to all of you:) Thanks to Annie, too, for holding the umbrella for me as well as some amazing shots!!!

Krystal and Greg, I wish you a wonderful life together and thank you for inviting me to be a part of your amazing day:)

Christmas Day 2011 Family Lifestyle images

Corinne & Dan

Corinne and Dan are relatively new to Brisbane. From New Zealand, they have bought themselves a gorgeous new house, which they moved into just before the wedding. Needless to say, there were lots of overseas guests at this wedding, and what a worthwhile journey this day would have been. Corinne and Dan’s Garden Service was stunning. Full of emotion, they said their vows to one another and became man and wife.

Upon embarking on the location photography, we were offered 4 golf buggies. Oh my word, what a whole heap of fun we had with them! Boys will be boys, and before we knew it, two of the buggies were off down the hill towards the beach! Annie, my second shooter, was having kittens! (thanks again for all your help Annie – love your work).

For a summers day, the afternoon was uncharacteristically cold and windy, so we kept the beach images to a minimum, then headed back to the golf course for some clowning around. Good fun:)

Corinne and Dan, I trust you enjoyed spending the very first night in your brand new house as a married couple. Very cool. Thank you for the privilege of spending this amazing day with you both.

Yellow Bridesmaids with Red Shoes

What an amazing day! The wedding of Clinton and Ragne was one of the sweetest, most gorgeous occasions I have ever seen . Set in the glorious hinterland at Mt Warning, Mavis’ Kitchen was the venue for this wedding. The bride and groom had their own separate accommodation on the property, and met in the gorgeous garden to exchange vows. As the sun shone, so did the amazing sea of colour of the bridal party and guests. Such a feast for the eyes – and the photographer!!!!

Following the service, Annie (my trusty assistant), myself and the bridal party headed to a location that featured Mt Warning in all it’s glory. A few images later and we returned to Mavis’ for a spot of croquet. What a magic place and a magic couple:)

Little Ted and Margot Jane

The arrival of my new nephew, Ted, had me spending some lovely time capturing some images of him and his sister Margot. Little Ted slept the whole time, and Margot Jane, of course was delighted to be in front of the camera. Congratulations to Jennie and Randall on the arrival of the gorgeous Little Ted.

OOOOhhhhhhh, the wedding of Tash and Adrian. So many tears – happiness and joy. Tash and Adrian become husband and wife in front of all their dear friends and family – not to mention the delightful Lily – their 3 month old baby girl. These two are just the most understated, quiet, calm, beautiful couple I have ever met. The words do not have to be spoken to see the love they share with each other and precious Lily. As always, I feel very privileged to be part of this incredible day. I wish you all the happiness for your life together.
