Why should a customer hire you over another service provider?

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?
Principal Photographer Suzanne McCorkell has been a professional photographer for 15 years, having completed a Community College course in NSW. Suzanne attends regular Professional Development activities and is currently the Vice President for the QLD Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP) Council. Suzanne has also won multiple awards, one of which was the Moran Contemporary Photographic Prize – the most prestigious photographic prize in Australia.
Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?
SOUL Photographic Design specialises in Contemporary Portraiture – your newborn, young children, teens, families, generation, Corporate, Environmental. We help to make your vision come alive.
How do you normally charge for your service?
PortrAIT Photoshoots are $165, $50 of which is required up front to book the date. The fee is based on an hour of photography at your selected location (which we can assist with). Within this session fee, you will have a consultation, and receive a Gallery of images from which you can select. We have a variety of products, including prints, canvas, metal, acrylic, image boxes, albums. We also have bonus offers and referral rewards. Customers usually make an investment of anywhere from $500 to $3000!
What makes your pricing competitive?
We take a very relaxed approach to selling, so clients needn’t feel pressured. If clients love the images, we ensure that they are able to purchase them at a price that is suitable.
How can a customer save money before you start the work?
Tell other people about us!! We have a Referral program and a Loyalty program, so customers can save money both ways – AND have amazing Photographic Art in their homes. Have a firm budget in mind and stick to it!
Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?
We are fully insured including all equipment, public liability and indemnity. Our workmanship comes with a guarantee that if you don’t LOVE it, we will shoot it again at our cost.

What questions do customers most commonly ask you and what is your answer?
How much do you charge? This is a very difficult question to answer and really depends on the products that people purchase. Clients generally spend between $500 and $4000.

Photography is my passion. I see light and it really inspires and excites me. I love people and their stories and I love the emotion within a family or couple, or friends. It is truly wonderful.
How did you decide to get into your line of work?
I have had a camera since I can remember. At the age of 10, I had 3!! I was always that person with a camera in my hand. I spent several years travelling around Europe and taking photographs. I would put them in an album and show people and they would always say ” You should be a photographer”….the rest is history.
